Personal piece. A2 cream card cut on blue mounting card. There are 26 (I think), different types of underwater type things in this, including my favourite one (this guy). It took me a good few days of solid cutting, and my hand is warped beyond all recognition. Worth it.
You don’t get a prize – too easy. I think I might do this as a print, if anyone would like this, please let me know.
Personal piece. A smoosh of birds. A4 cut on grey card. Think I will probably sell it… If anyone’s interested let me know. Sorry – sold!
I’ve been busy recently making card orders. A bunch of Gaidhlig cards are currently whisking their way up to the Isle of Skye Soap shop in Portree. They’re totally amazing and have a gig this Sunday the 13th at Tuts and you should very much go. If you go to their website you can listen to their tunes and also buy a ticket for their gig. Which, as I mentioned, you should. The photos... Read The Rest →
My entry for the latest Fluevog ad competition. The shoe was called Memory Keepsake with the strap line – My Memories of Love are all of You. I wasn’t picked as one of the finalists but I still like my entry. Although I can see SO MANY problems with it now.
Last night was the launch of new Glasgow record label Comets & Cartwheels and also the launch of their band Quickbeam‘s debut single ‘Seven Hundred Birds’ and, as mentioned in my previous post, I had been working on an art installation for the night. It was on board the Tall Ship, which is on the Clyde by the Transport museum and is the most unusual and amazing gig venue I’ve been to. Definitely helped by all the amazing music. Quickbeam especially were absolutely beautiful – I insist you listen to... Read The Rest →
